Covid19 Global Pandemic
We offer flexible booking, date transfer and cancellation policies during the Covid19 pandemic.
We are accredited with The AA Covid Confident, VISIT ENGLAND “We’re Good to Go” and World Safe Traveller Covid safe accreditation for 2021.
At Seventeen The Town House we are committed to providing reassurance to all our guests regarding our enhanced intelligent cleaning, disinfection & sanitisation housekeeping procedures towards keeping guests safe and reducing Covid 19 transmission during the pandemic. The beauty of self catering accommodation is that guests can welcome the security of checking into the house which will have been deep cleaned, sanitised and is yours to relax in for the duration of your stay. All check ins will be contact less until the pandemic ceases. We will still welcome and greet guests on check in, it will be via a call or video call instead. We provide concierge for our guests so we are always available to be contacted during guests stays.
We have always taken pride on the presentation of this pretty 1810 Georgian house for all of our guests so we have little to fine tune but will be taking extra care on the special extras now required for sanitisation. We will also provide alcohol based hand gel, alcohol wipes, disposable kitchen cloths, kitchen surface disinfectant sanitiser suitable to comply with BSEN1476 hospital grade high log kill, face coverings, tissues, toilet tissue and a digital thermometer for guests use during their stay. Each bathroom is well supplied with hand soap and towels.
In advance of arrival all guests will be sent our new policy for housekeeping and guest check information. Best practice Covid19 cleaning protocols have been written by PASC UK and are fully recognised and approved by the UK Gov.
We will be allowing a minimum of 24-48 hours between guest checkout/check in to provide the optimum time for sanitisation. This time period could change with updates in information.
We are not required by law to conduct any health assessments of guests during their stay.
We are required by law to collect home address, telephone number, email address for each guest registered for a stay apart from those under the age of 16 years old. This is to comply with UK GOV NHS test and trace.
All guests staying at the house are required to use our QR code to register their arrival to support UK GOV NHS Test and Trace.
Please note all guests visiting shopping areas, cafes, bars, restaurants to collect takeaways and those using public transport are advised by UK GOV to wear a face covering.
Please email with any queries or booking requests.
